BIJATA ADHIKARI

Co-founder and heart of PEP, Bijata mother of two. Bijata takes her example from her mother. Only partially literate, her mother placed a high value on education for each of her children. With the affirmation and sacrifice of her mother, Bijata pursued education to serve others. Her experience working with World Vision grounds her passion to create a similar but individualistic, student-centric approach to lifting disadvantaged children caught in generational poverty – and especially those where a physical disability has impacted the family.
With visionary enthusiasm, leaderships skills combined with compassion, Bijata envisions and empowers those around her to work effectively together to advance the mission and create a better life and future, through education for PEP students.
