School fees keep a child enrolled. Enrichment builds their life skills. But a child can't focus on either one when their home is unstable. PEP+ is the fund that steps in fast when a family hits a crisis — keeping a child's world steady while the family regroups. Living in fragile circumstances, life for the urban poor is anything but stable. When a PEP family experiences a significant barrier - they turn to PEP for help. We created PEP+ to help when needed. An indirect support of the child's education by intervention and support that keeps the child in school during times of family duress. 

PEP+ is also an "opportunity" resource. It also funds professional development for local teachers, and employment coaching so parents can build steadier income over time. It also enables some community building amongst the parents so they don't feel so isolated.

It's a small, flexible piece of the budget — typically 3-4% annually — used only when it's genuinely needed.
